UPDATE:  I was told by several talent that they have received their
check.  We are still working on helping you resolve this issue.

IMPORTANT
  • IF your payment was more than 15 days from the date you worked.
  • OR if you still have not been compensated for your days worked

You will want to have the California State Labor Board help you get
your payments and
possible penalties.
(If you are awarded penalties, that means your would be paid
additional money on top of your wages, because they were late).

To do this you must file an
individual wage claim with the Labor Board.

Go to this Labor Board location :
State of California Industrial Relations Office
Department of Labor Standards Enforcement
320 W. 4th St., #450
Los Angeles, CA 90013

Their phone numbers are:
(213) 620-6330   (213) 897-5960

Have the following information with you to complete the paper work:
Know the date you worked.
The Effect LLC is your employer
The address to use is :
The Effect, LLC
c/o Provident Financial
2850 Ocean Park Blvd. #300
Santa Monica, CA 90405

I urge you to go in person and fill out an "individual wage claim" ASAP.
